(Photo by Wesley Hitt/Getty Images)Late Tuesday night, Texas A&M quarterback Nick Starkel announced his plans to transfer from the Aggies football program for the final two years of his eligibility.“Since I signed my letter of intent I have given my all to my teammates, coaches, and the 12th man – from starting my first college football game under Coach Sumlin and his staff, to winning the Gator Bowl with Coach Fisher and his…I will explore finishing my final two years of eligibility at another program,” Starkel said in a statement.It’s the year of the transfer quarterback and Starkel is just the latest to hit the market. So, where will he go?According to Aggies insider Travis Brown, Starkel is looking at four programs: Duke, Ohio State, SMU and Arizona.Texas A&M QB Nick Starkel will hit the transfer portal any minute now & will not participate in spring practice, he said. With Sumlin now in Arizona, the Wildcats could be the early leader to land the former three-star recruit.Ohio State could use added depth at the position as well.Stay tuned.
